Duck hunting cat???

Hunting season must be getting close because the husband dug out the hunting DVD's

The kitten seems to be into hunting as well every time a hunting show is on the kitten is perched on the arm of the couch and stays there until the show is over.

Shortly after I took this picture, Ira starts laughing HARD the kitten leaps off the couch at the TV.
I guess Remington has been telling her how to fetch ducks???

Do you remember THIS?

Well here's what I did.

I made mine longer. And painted it blue.

This it was it looks like with out all the crap that normally hangs on it.

I still need to find something to go in the jar. I haven't found that perfect flower yet.

It was  a very easy project I did everything except cut the wood. Ira helped me with that.

New Old Couch!

This is our couch that we got FREE on KSL.
It was OK. Not the prettiest thing ever but it worked for now. HEY it was free

Here is our NEW old couch! Again Free on KSL.
It's green, not my first choice but it was free.

  1. Side note! This is a typical Sunday in our house. Ira in his Sunday clothes watching TV.  Take a look at this picture...

I love it!

Fireworks and Remington

Fireworks are beautiful!

Remington and Fireworks NOT SO BEAUTIFUL!

This is what happens when it's July in my house!

Poor boy!

HOLY KITTENS BATMAN!

Our No-name Cat decided that she needed to be a momma.

The night I was in the hospital, Ira came home to get a change of clothes when he came in the cat went out (NOT BY OUR CHOICE)

She of course became pregnant!

Here she with her pregnant belly.
She gave us FIVE cute little kittens!

We had 2 gray, 2 black, and one cute little kitty that looked exactly like her.

Here are two of them. They are about 9 weeks old here.

Don't you just love my model Miss C loves those Kitty's!!!

We have two left and are trying to find homes for both of them. So, if you know anyone who wants two cute little kittens give them my number!!!

Flaming Gorge

 Flaming Gorge 2011!!

Last year Ira, his brother Aaron and their dad went on a charter fishing trip at Flaming Gorge. The Charter guide has a policy that if you don't catch anything above a certain amount he re-books for free.
They re-booked for the weekend of the 14th-17th.

So my SIL and I got the idea that we would go with them.

Too many pictures to talk about so I've created a slide show.
We all had a great time. You can tell that this time they caught their limit!!!

In-Laws!!

Our Summer has been full of visitors!

Ira's parents came to visit at the beginning of July. Kind-of for two reasons.

1. Miss Chelsea Ann made the decision to become a member of
The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and be Baptized.

and

2.  A fishing trip to Flaming Gorge.

My MIL decided to head home a little early. She felt like she needed to be home.

Good thing too. They have this little dog Bear who's had some health problems. The vet told them it was just a matter of time so enjoy the time they have with him.
Well A few days after she went home Bear died. So sad, he was two years old and just had a lot of health issues. I feel that she was impressed to go home for that reason.

I was sad she didn't go camping with us but glad she listened to that feeling she had!

The FIL was here for another week. We headed to Flaming Gorge at the end of the week!

Elkhart Reunion

While mom was here we were able to go to SLC for a Lived in Elkhart and relocated to Utah Reunion

It was great to see everyone, people I haven't seen in um..... 15 years???
(I'm getting old, and I have the grey hair to prove it)

Here's Jessica (in the purple) and Emma (Sitting) Even though we all live in the same state we just don't get to see each other very often.

Although Jessica wasn't telling anyone at this time. She's sportin' a 4 month old prego belly... She by no means is a fatty  (Happy Jess??)

Here's Amber and Bill.

It was so great to see everyone! I can't wait to see everyone next year!

Mom comes to Utah

My mom gives me a call well and says "I'm coming for a visit. I'm not sure how long I'll stay but I'll be there Sunday." Um.... OKAY! Awesome!
Mom needed a little getaway, what better than to come see her favorite daughter and her favorite son in law!!

Here is Aaron and my mom outside of Gaucho Grill YUMMY Brazilian place. Mom was Aaron's "date" because Crystal was in Ohio visiting a friend.
Mom spent a lot of her time attending the Logan Temple we even did a session in the SLC temple.

Her trip wasn't too eventful she needed sometime to relax and just get away.
She was here for about a month and then she decided it was time to go home.

(Oh, she drove by the way. Very brave!!!)
