Labor Day

Clear back in September a few of our friends and family took the drive (like it's that long 15 min. maybe) up to Virgina City to watch the Labor Day parade. I've wanted to watch it for a few years now, and this year we actually did it!

Even the town Hobo's joined us!

VC is considered a "ghost town" so they dress the part of the ol' west, here's a few of the ladies dressed the part.

After the parade the put on a war reenactment and actually fire off guns. They came around to show us the proper way to cover your ears during the fire. And the...

improper way...
We had such a fun day. After the parade we all gathered at Brian and Leah's house for a BBQ!

oh... btw, I went to VC for like the 4th time this past summer, and just like in times past left wondering, "When is this town gonna get another saloon? They simply don't have enough!" lol!
