Santa

Ok, Santa is kinda creepy!!!!!

Fishing

Ira, my darling darling husband LOVES fishing, and I don't mean just a little, I mean a LOT!!! during the summer, well really all year round he's out fishing most weekends. This weekend he FINALLY talked me into going. I don't often go, because...
A. it's fishing
B. it's fishing
C. he goes out for HOURS!!!!!!!!!!!! Most of the time it's ALL DAY!!!!
D. IT'S FISHING!!!!

Now don't get me wrong. I do love spending time with my husband for the most part we have fun. All day we talk, laugh, fall asleep and during the summer months get burned!!!!

In order to catch this fish (what a catch huh???) I had to climb down a TON of rocks. split my pants in the butt, and sit here and watch Ira set my pole up (because I don't hold it right)

So he sets up the pole and I have to Watch the end, if it bobs up and down then I yell out and Ira comes running and helps me take the fish off the hook. (because like I'm going to touch that nasty smelly thing!

My Husband

I love this man!

Reno Balloon Races!

Another first for me this year was going to the Great Reno Balloon Race.

VERY early in the morning Ira and I, also a few friends drove to Reno to watch the Balloon races they do this thing called the dawn patrol were balloons light up in sinc with music. (we watched this part from the car because traffic was INSANE! So much traffic at 4:30 in the morning!

I don't think I've seen the sun come up in a LONG time! so pretty!

As we were driving away we stopped for a light, I looked up and saw this sign. I thought it was so funny! I've seen it before in an e-mail... but never in real life... I'm a dork I know!

Labor Day

Clear back in September a few of our friends and family took the drive (like it's that long 15 min. maybe) up to Virgina City to watch the Labor Day parade. I've wanted to watch it for a few years now, and this year we actually did it!

Even the town Hobo's joined us!

VC is considered a "ghost town" so they dress the part of the ol' west, here's a few of the ladies dressed the part.

After the parade the put on a war reenactment and actually fire off guns. They came around to show us the proper way to cover your ears during the fire. And the...

improper way...
We had such a fun day. After the parade we all gathered at Brian and Leah's house for a BBQ!
