My Man

1.What is his name? Ira Robert Coltrin

2.Who eats more? Ira does

3.Who said I love you first? Ira asked me if I loved him. So I'm going to say me.

4.Who is taller? LOL Ira! Him Being 6'4" and me only 5'2"

5.Who is smarter? I think We are both the Most Smartest :D

6.Who is more sensitive? ME

7.Who does the laundry? I DO! He'll move it along if I ask him to but I HATE it when other
people do the laundry. I think it's a control thing!

8. Who sleeps on the right side of the bed? Ira

9.Who pays the bills? We do it together

11.Who is more stubborn? I think we are both equally stubborn!

12. Who is the first to admit they are wrong?Me, Ira's NEVER wrong :P I think it's a Coltrin thing

13.Who has more siblings? Ira, 6 brothers and 1 sister, I have 3 brothers and 2 sisters

14.What do you like to do together? A lot! We like to play games, travel, go camping, Hang out with friends.

16.Guilty pleasures? Fishing or Hunting, also tinkering around with his boat or Car

17.How did you meet? My now Sister in law was getting married and asked me to be her maid of honor. So I drove to Nevada. Ira Walked in the room and I knew we were going to get married. He Proposed to me that next Month and we were married a few months after that.

18.Who asked who out first? Well, I don't think anyone asked anyone out. Ira said to me, "people are asking what we are." So um, what are we?" I say I don't know what are we. He says "boyfriend, girlfriend hee hee"

19.Who kissed who first? that is a BIG ta do between us. Ira says I did (but he's so tall He HAD to bend down to kiss me. so I say he kissed me first.

20.Who proposed? Ira did. I love the way he did it. He came to Indiana for a visit. At 3:30am he says I brought something for you. and brings out this FAKE ring (one of those with the adjustable band) He says the real one was at the jewelers getting sized and wasn't back before he came. So for a few months I wore that one. At our wedding we bought a bunch of them and sprinkled them all over the tables at the reception.

21.His best features? I love it when Ira hugs me! He has such strong arms that he could hold me forever! Also, looking into his eyes!

22.What is his greatest quality? Ira is a very sweet person, even though he grumbles about somethings he is ALWAYS there to help me or anyone else for that matter.

My new Favorite

For the past year or so my sister in laws and a few friends have been talking about Hairspray. A Few months ago I borrowed it from my sister in law, and fell in LOVE! I've watched it EVERYDAY!!! (not all of it) I put it on in the kitchen while I'm making dinner. It's a great movie to sing and dance along to! I uploaded it to my Computer so I can watch it while I'm tinkering around in the office. It has taken over my life! Michelle just burned the soundtrack for me. It's already on my Computer at work. I have a copy for my car. AND put it on my MP3 player.

My all time favorite movie is still Grease (surprise surprise they both have my Johnny boy in them.) But this movie I do have to say is a VERY close second.

Vegas

I know I know, It's about time!!!! I'm sorry, I've been so busy!!! Here are the pictures of Vegas.

Ira and I had a BLAST!!!! mostly in the evening, I was in classes during the day. (a lot of BORING classes)

We stayed at the Santa Fe Station Hotel/Casino.

We didn't know this at the time, But this Hotel is about 30min. from the strip, but this is where the conference was, and it was free, so I'm not complaining. :D

Ira and I had a lot of fun. The first night we were there we stayed around the hotel, Played a little and grabbed a bite to eat.

All day Thursday I attended classes, from learning about reference questions all the way to gaming in the Library. Ira peeled himself away from the TV (CABLE, which we don't have) long enough to have lunch with me, then it was off to MORE classes.

That evening, we went took a drive down the strip, WOW, is all I can say! My feet hurt SO bad; we did so much walking! It was worth it.

Are first stop was the Bellagio to have a look at the fountains.

Then, I don't know how but Ira convinced me to go on the NEW YORK NEW YORK Roller Coaster. As you can see Ira was enjoying himself, me on the other hand was a little scared!!!!!

We also went to the M&M Store, Walked past Paris, and even through Italy... :D Who knew that you could go SO many places in one City!

M&M store! this store is FILLED with anything and EVERYTHING M&M 4 floors of M&M stuff!

At the Venetian

I think the most awesome part of our trip was the TOURNAMENT OF KINGS!!!!! At the Excalibur They put on a dinner show. It's SO awesome! You sit with your country. Ira and I sat With Hungary. We of course were to scream and holler for our King. We were served a Cornish Game Hen, Stake fries, Broccoli and Tomato soup for dinner. and of course we had to use our hands to eat. NO SILVERWARE! Unfortunately we couldn't take pictures during the show. Attending the show we even had a Newlywed couple, Decked out in Her wedding dress and everything. ONLY IN VEGAS!!!!

We also Walked thru a Shark Reef Aquarium, We weren't too impressed with this, We thought we would see more sharks, or BIGGER sharks. and really it was so dark, the pictures didn't turn out all that great.

We even ran into a couple of famous people... Micheal Jackson AND Elvis (I thought he was dead)

We had a REALLY great time!!! I learned alot, and We Played ALOT!!! It was a great Weekend getaway, we can't wait to go back to see what we didn't have time to see.

VEGAS BABY!!!!

Ira and I are leaving for Vegas today!!! I won't be around until Sunday, so make sure you stop by to look at all the pictures!!!!!

I'm going for work, I have a Library conference and Ira is coming to hang out.. YEAH!!!!
....and we might just get married by Elvis while were there, who knows.

Duck Hunting

I was looking at some old pictures on our computer and I came across these. I thought it would be fun to post a blog about my hunting adventure with my husband... My husband is a into duck hunting BIG TIME!!! And of course he's been on me to go with him. Last year I FINALLY told him I'd go. So we went to the store and got all the "stuff" I needed to be a hunter...

I didn't want to take camera out on the water, I'll fill you in. It took about an hour from the truck to the "blind" we were hunting at. I was SO tired. I slept in the boat most of the day, and had to pee hanging on to the side of the boat... That was NOT fun...

It was fun seeing Ira do what he loves so much.

Wii Fit

Last year for my birthday Ira surprised me with a Nintendo wii... LOVE IT!!! as you have read on my on going list of 100 things about me, I love to play a game or two, when I get home from work to unwind get all by built up energy out on some poor sap who is bowling or playing tennis against me.

Well a week ago I asked Ira if we could get Wii fit. (A game that goes along with the wii) He says sure. So we venture off to Walmart and start our search for the game. Unfortunately, they were out, we had them call the other walmart in town and they were out...bummer it looks like we'll have to wait till tomorrow to get it. Tomorrow comes and I call Ira and ask if he could go to Toy's R US, They HAVE to have it, they have everything; OUT!!! Ira then tells me to call around to see who has this game. I begin, I called EVERY WALMART IN RENO!!!!!(we have about 10 of them) They are all out. I call EVERY TARGET; OUT!!! I call EVERY GAMESTOP; OUT! It dawns on me that I didn't call the Game stop in Carson, So I call, THEY HAVE ONE!!!!! and will hold it for me for 20min's.... I call Ira, blah blah, Emily, I'm at Cabela's, clear on the other side of Reno it will take him at least 45 min. to get back to Carson, DANG IT so close... Then the thought occurs to me.. I can make it to Carson in 15 min. (if I don't hit traffic) By the way, I'm at work while this is all going on. I jump in the car and zoom off to the store. I run into the store just as the guy says, well I don't think she's coming, I'M HEAR!!!!!!!! I grab it, pay for it and ZOOM back to Dayton. I really think I would have 10 or so traffic violations if I would have gotten pulled over. I HAVE WII FIT!!!! I NEVER thought it would be THAT hard to buy a game.... I think I have now become a gamer.... EKK!!!!

More about wii fit: I encourage you if you are wanting to get in shape to purchase a wii, and buy wiifit. We bought it on Tuesday and already I've lost 2.5 pounds. The first night Ira and I were going thru all the steps to set it up and set our goals to where we want to be in a month. It was so fun! Really you don't feel like your working out at all. They have game on there like hoola hooping, Skiing, Ski jump, a Dance step. It really is worth the it.

Hair Cut

Well it's been a few weeks, But I did get my hair cut. Here's a picture of it. I do this every summer; it gets SO hot here I just can't take long hair anymore!!!!
