Christmas 2009

Yes your reading correctly! It's Christmas time! I know that I'm REALLY behind on my blogging so here's the start! Christmas! Ira and I had a really great Christmas, He bought me a new SEWING MACHINE! I've been wanting one for a while and was VERY excited when I opened this present. He also gave me a shopping spree which I badly needed so I bought a lot of new clothes and shoes!  Ira got (of course) hunting stuff, I also got made him  a new hunting shirt.

After we opened our presents we spent the afternoon with Ira's family! We spent the afternoon chatting and playing games. We don't opened presents right away which it actually nice! Ira's parents do stockings for everyone in the family, It's LOADED with fruit, candy, candy, and MORE candy! They also stuff them with things that aren't normally in stockings.. this year we got POTATOES!! Who woulda' thunk...

After we open presents which take like 3 or 4 hours, we have a wonderful sit down family dinner, filled with PRIME RIB, MASHED POTATOES, (MY) HOME MADE ROLLS, PINK STUFF (yes that's what it's called), BEANS, AND MUCH MUCH MUCH MORE!

Christmas is my MOST favorite time of year because you get to spend time with family sharing things that you've thought hard about what to give each other!
