Long time no post...

All I can say is I blame FACEBOOK!!!!

This summer has been a busy one....
June was pretty calm, Ira celebrated his 27th birthday.
Summer reading started at the library. and that is ALWAYS a crazy time!!!
So for me it was program after program for the past 8 weeks! we had almost 300 kids sign up and just over half of them completed the program.
We did Tye dying, made pinatas and TONS of of other programs.
July came round and on a sad note, my grandmother past away, so we made a 30 hour drive to Indiana, missed the funeral but it was REALLY good to see family, we were there for a week an half. I hadn't been home in almost 2 years, so it was REALLY good to see family! We mostly spent the days hangin' at my mom's apt.
On the to Indiana, we didn't have time to stop and play anywhere, because we were in such a hurry to get there. On the way home, we stopped at EVERY Cabela's on I-80...now, if you know us (or the husband rather) you know that we LOVE going to Cabela's so this was our 3rd or 4th time at the 3 Cabela's that we passed. Nebraska and Indiana each had a new one, so those were kinda of neat to go in.
When we got into Nebraska we hit a REALLY bad thunderstorm and decided that we should just stay over in Lincoln. Then we went on to Logan, Ut to visit Ira's brother and his family. we got there on Saturday, and spent the weekend with them. Of course while were there we had to go to the DI (Deseret Industries) Thrift store! it's probably the BEST thrift store I have ever been to!!!
We headed home on Monday, and it's been pretty quiet now, School is starting tomorrow which means, the library won't be a quiet place everyone would hope it to be! But I love the kids that hang out there, (well the good ones at least)!!!
I promise, I'll post more often, plus more pictures of the house. I hope I still have some readers out there, that check back to see if I've actually posted... well here ya go!!! :D
