Moving...

Ira and I are moving down the street from where we live now. We've found a cute Duplex that we are going to rent that will save us money and in a year or so we will be able to buy a home. I've very excited about this move! The house is very cute. We aren't loosing any space. The GREAT plus is that our new landlord seems like a really nice guy! We gave our 30 day notice to our current landlord today, and are signing the lease on the 15th and will have two weeks to move in.

You will not believe this!

So, Ira makes a withdrawal from our bank this morning and found that there was ALOT more money in our account than we should have. So he calls and asks how much my paycheck was. So I look: WOW it's more than I thought it should be. After looking into it more. I decide to talk to our HR lady at work. So she looks into it, and tells me: that HR (from the City) messed up! One of my employee's put her resignation letter in a week ago. So Like a good girl I fax it over to HR. Well Instead of them READING the letter they Term. the first name they come to WHICH IS MINE! So This paycheck as all of my accrued Vacation and comp. time on it! WHAT A MESS!!! Not only has this caused problems with The Finance Dept. with the City, It's messed up my budget for next month, AND Our health Insurance, My Retirement, and well another retirement I have set up. I am so MAD!!!! So of course I'm writing a letter to my supervisor and the Head of the Finance Dept! and just maybe the City Manager! that person in HR should be FIRED!!!! I wonder who she slept with to get her job! That's what I get for working for the great City of Carson City. BLAH!

It's been too long

Well I'm still going strong with Weight Watchers. I've now gone a full 3 weeks with out Soda (pop, for all you Indiana folk) I'm just feeling good. I feel like I'm more healthy. I love that fact the Ira is right there by my side, encouraging me and routing for me! Nothing else new is going.

Well I do have this FUNNY story!

Saturday I left work around 4:30, to do the whole car swap with Ira, Well I dropped him off at work, and got a LARGE Lemonade. Well I Grabbed it on the top of the cup and the lid POPPED off I was DRENCHED!!!! Compleately DRENCHED!!!! from top to bottom, on top of that I was wearing a white shirt and it was all in my hair. I called work and told them what happened and that I was just going to go home to shower. By the time I got home my hair was so hard (I thought of "Theres something about mary")

Weight Loss adventure

This week is going well, I'm watching what I eat. I've also stopped drinking soda, which means that I'm having Caffeine withdrawals! I'm at the headache part so it's almost over. (Can you tell I've been through this before) I'm drinking LOTS AND LOTS of water which also means that I'm peeing LOTS AND LOTS! I'm writing down everything I eat. I now have to get the exercise thing down. I hate that part. That's it so far.

Starting Fresh...

Tomorrow. (Monday) I'm starting the Weight Watchers program! I'm not going to attend the meetings, however, I do have my sister in laws to help me! :D I'm very excited! It's time that I get healthy instead of hiding behind my weight! Wish me luck! And please keep me in your prayers while I start my new adventure. :D
